At Chesapeake Animal Hospital, we provide top-quality veterinary care and grooming to pets in our community.

Chesapeake Animal Hospital began in 1985 by Dr. Alfred Brooks in a 1,200 sqft space in a shopping mall. In 1990, he built his current 6,000 sqft state-of-the-art facility, winning the Veterinary Economic Merit Award for Hospital Design that same year.

This former one-man practice now employs multiple veterinarians, licensed technicians, assistants, caretakers, and groomers. Because we have access to referral specialists, if we don’t know the answer we’ll find someone who does!

Our staff treats you like family and each pet like our own. We are honored and proud to be a partner in your pet's healthcare team.
